Here’s a continuation of thoughts about my core values – health, curiosity, challenge, adventure and peace. Aligning our actions with our values is key to true wellness.
For me, adventure might look like:
- Snowboarding trips to the Southern Hemisphere
- Learning new movement patterns in CrossFit, parkour or martial arts
- Working with teams that have a fast-paced startup mentality
Adventure is defined as “an unusual, exciting, and possibly dangerous activity.”
A lot of people focus on the “possibly dangerous” part of the definition, but I focus more on moving beyond my current limitations. The reality is that almost anyone can embrace adventure by envisioning it as unusual and exciting.
