About

My goal is to provide women in perimenopause and beyond with the nutrition, movement and mindset tools and habits to get back to the energetic, enthusiastic beings they once were. I will be utilizing my Precision Nutrition certification and personal training experience alongside my lived experience as a woman whose body suddenly rebelled against the movement and sports that gave me joy, not to mention messing with my mood and sleep. Hormonal shifts and HPA axis dysfunction were responsible.

My mission to help women fight the decimating symptoms of those health issues stems from my own experiences, where I consulted Western and naturopathic specialists for years before finding a functional medicine nurse practitioner, whose program made an immediate difference. Even after that, ongoing work with medical professionals including a nutritionist and naturopaths, plus my own self-study, has been crucial to optimizing my health.

Beyond my own expertise, I help women my age by sharing resources that have benefited me.

Working with clients to manage very-specific health issues is not new to me. I started my work as a personal trainer with the Parkinson’s community after seeing the impact of the disease on my own father. I decided to get my personal trainer certification and utilize my background in martial arts to start the first Rock Steady Boxing program in the Pacific Northwest. I later trained PwPs (people with Parkinson’s) via one-on-one sessions in my Beat PD venture.

Below are some of the experiences and tools I use in my training.
